Valdosta Chiropractic & Rehab named Small Business of the Month

Renasant Bank and the Chamber presented Valdosta Chiropractic & Rehab with the Small Business of the Month award for January.

Doctor of Chiropractic Lacy Guy opened her practice 8 years ago. As a newcomer to Valdosta, she became involved in the community with the help of the Chamber, the Rotary Club of Valdosta, and Leadership Lowndes. Guy says, “It was through my community involvement that Valdosta became home for me and the place that I am so proud of.”

New growth is in store for Valdosta Chiropractic & Rehab: Guy looks forward to opening a new office on the corner of Gornto Road and North Oak Street. “This new, state of the art office will allow us to treat more people and offer more treatment opportunities for our community,” says Guy.

A source of pride for Guy are the many awards she and her company have received. Along with being named one of Valdosta’s “4 under 40,” Guy has also been selected as the Leadership Lowndes nominee for Woman of the year. Notably, the Leadership Lowndes Board of Trustees honored the company with the H. Arthur McLane Award.

These awards reflect the value Valdosta Chiropractic & Rehab places on quality of care for every individual patient. The company strives to provide a “faster, long-lasting correction to your health conditions… through the use of modern chiropractic equipment and technology.” Rather than having tunnel vision for a list of symptoms, Guy’s practice considers “a multitude of lifestyle factors such as their diets, workplace ergonomics and even how they sleep.” Guy says, “We take a ‘whole person’ approach with our care.”
